Hmmm, I'm not sure how useful lasers are for cleaning stuff up in general, but they could reduce organic waste to its atomic components which would mean tough times for any future human parasites that might survive the current public health system.

Have you predicted yet the robotic system that would seperate household garbage into component parts? Recycle is much more likely to occur if the garbage comes at least presorted.

You got it. Bathroom-cleaning nanobots could be armed with tiny lasers to break nasty stuff down into more useful resources.
